Black and Milk helped me design and refurbish my new London apartment. The project was not a simple one, as I have a specific taste and high requirements regarding acoustics. However, Olga and Toly were a marvelous team. They took the time to listen and understand my needs before coming up with a design that brought my dreams into reality. The project, as all renovation projects do, ran slightly over budget. But we planned for the unexpected from the beginning and when a neighbor had a sudden water leak that flooded my acoustic floor treatment we managed to pull through with only a slight delay. So I think the Black and Milk team deserves a big thanks for a job well done!

We weren’t sure whether to hire an interior designer for our extension, but are so pleased that we did, and that we picked Mia. She was extremely easy to work with and had a strong understanding of what we wanted. Importantly for us, she was just as impressive selecting items from IKEA as she was selecting some of the more top-end items. She also understood our desire for a family house that works for young children but won’t need to be renovated when they are teenagers. She was meticulous in her planning and details, and we never had any doubts that our house would look as we wanted it to. Mia has done a fantastic job. I cannot speak highly enough of the job Mia did on our house. As background, my wife and I had just purchased our dream home where we wanted to raise a family and live for the next 20-30 years. Our only issue was that we had very different taste and ideas as to how to decorate the different rooms. In stepped Mia, who sat with us repeatedly at the weekend, over a period of three months, patiently going through reams of wallpaper, books of carpet fabrics, and countless books of furniture from which we could then choose what we liked and which she would put together for our approval. On top of that, she helped us find a high-quality builder who also did a great job and who worked seamlessly with her, taking the pain out of the project totally.
