How the scorecard works

Rating is the live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated each company, compared with others in the area. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so 4.9 from hundreds of people counts for more than the same score from a few dozen. Recency shows how lately customers are still leaving reviews. No business can pay to change these numbers.

What changes the price of camera installation in Denver

None of these companies publish prices on Google, so ask for a written quote. Cost generally follows the number of cameras, wired versus wireless, how hard the wiring is to run, whether a recorder or cloud storage is included, and whether you add alarms or access control. Get a written quote that lists equipment and labor separately.

Where these installers work

Colorado Security Company, Denver Secure LLC and Catalyst Security Group Inc list Denver addresses, and Security Surveillance System is in Aurora. Security Surveillance System describes work across Colorado, and Denver Secure LLC says it serves Denver and surrounding areas. Looking for camera installation near me? Each listing shows a phone number so you can confirm that your suburb is covered.

What to ask before you book a camera installer

  • How many cameras does the quote cover, and where will each one go?
  • How will the wiring be run, and who patches the holes?
  • Will you set up remote viewing on my phone before you leave?
  • Is storage local, in the cloud, or both, and are there monthly fees?
  • What is the warranty on the cameras and on the labor?
