Bath Fitter's Buffalo location works from a showroom at 2851 Broadway in Cheektowaga, and its site says it is franchise owned and operated by Ideal Bathroom Solutions LLC. The work centers on tub-over-tub replacements, shower installations, tub-to-shower conversions and walk-in showers, and the site describes a PermaFit system fitted over the existing tub or shower without demolition. It lists Buffalo, Amherst, Tonawanda, West Seneca, Lackawanna, Orchard Park, Hamburg, Lancaster, Niagara Falls and Lockport among the places it serves.

What people praise

  • Installers who explain each step and protect the flooring while they work
  • Walk-in shower swaps reported finished in a single day
  • Clean-up described as thorough, including hauling away the old tub and scraps
  • One reviewer says the installer contacted their town so the install met code
  • A free estimate is mentioned by a reviewer who also found the price reasonable

Worth knowing

Our take: The deepest review base on this page, and a sensible fit when the goal is replacing a tub or shower rather than redesigning the room. Get the warranty terms in writing before you sign.

Reading the scorecard

Rating is the live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated the business, compared with the other firms in the pool. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.9 from hundreds of reviews carries more weight than a 5.0 from a few dozen. Recency reflects whether reviews are still arriving.

What shapes the price of a bathroom remodel in Buffalo

No prices are published here. Cost depends mainly on how much of the room is being replaced: a tub or shower swap is a smaller job than a full renovation with new fixtures and finishes. Hidden conditions behind the walls, the materials you choose and whether plumbing or flooring is included can all move a quote, so ask each firm for a written estimate.

  • Who handles any permit or code requirements for the install?
  • How many days will the bathroom be out of use?
