Reading the scorecards

Rating is each business’s live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated it, set against the others here. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.8 from hundreds of people counts for more than a 5.0 from a handful. Recency reflects how recently customers still leave reviews.

What drives kitchen countertop pricing in Buffalo (2026)

No prices are published here. Countertop cost depends on the material, the square footage, how many cutouts and seams the layout needs, the edge profile, and whether removal of the old counter is included. Get an itemized written quote that names the exact slab or product, and ask whether the quote covers the sink cutout and installation.

Where these countertop businesses are based

Kitchen World Inc. is in Williamsville, Buffalo Granite & Marble in Tonawanda, Shell Fab Countertops & Casework and Pine Hill Fabricators in West Seneca, and Solid Surfaces NY in Cheektowaga. Looking for countertop installers near me? Each card lists a phone number and directions.

What to ask before you order countertops

Who measures the kitchen, and is a template or digital measure used?
Does the quote name the exact material and slab, or only the type?
Where will the seams fall, and can I see the layout first?
Does the price include the sink cutout, edge profile and installation?
How long from measurement to install for the material I picked?
Who handles a backsplash or a fix if the wall is not square?

Will the seams show in my countertop?
