Behind the scorecard

Rating is the business’s live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated it, set against the other fencing contractors on this page. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.8 from hundreds of people carries more weight than a 5.0 from a hundred. Recency reflects how recently customers are still leaving reviews.

What drives fence pricing in Buffalo

No prices are published here. Fence quotes depend on the length and height, the material (vinyl, wood, aluminum or chain link), the number and type of gates, whether an old fence has to come out, and any ground obstacles. Ask each company for an itemized quote that covers the same footage, height and gates.

What to ask a fence company before you sign

  • What are the post depth and gate hardware, and are gates included?
  • Who schedules the install, and how long should the job take?
  • What does the warranty cover, and does it transfer if I sell the house?
  • Do you handle any permit or property-line questions, or is that on me?
